Aw Kas that's bad, good on you for keeping going with the complaint, although it shouldn't be necessary:( Thinking of your dad.

You will need your dad's consent to raise a complaint (ridiculous but sadly true!) - and be very succinct and factual kas (no emotion) - they have to respond to a written complaint within a set period of time (20 working days I think).
Gran is beginning to pick up (feels safe in hospital since she's had the 3 falls at home) but yesterday she went for a another CT scan of her chest, despite me pointing out to the ward staff that she's had one on Monday and actually didn't need another one!! Different team of doctors and obviously no communication - fortunately an eagled eyed radiographer realised before she had the 2nd scan and cancelled it! Long term I don't what will happen - we're all now back home down south - just have to wait & see whether the Drs find a cause for the bone pain and then plan forward.

Fingers crossed for her Becks. I'm quite good at unemotional complaining. Interesting, the complaints dept took the first complaint from me without asking for Dad's consent. I will probably ring you some time to ask you about a few things before I start typing. Dad's OK really, as he finishes his fourth week in hospital with nothing actually done to him... he's allowed home for a few hours on Saturday and Sunday, which cheers him up. I think they let as many as possible go home at the weekends because they know the agency staff they use don't give a shit. I won't put more on the Healing Thread, but might start one in General when I've got the strength.

Can I ask for a few friendly thoughts for Lily, who appears to have got a little over-adventurous today. Not quite sure what happened, but she came home very, very fluffed and flustered and is rather sore and creaky. Don't think she needs the vet, I'm hoping a bit of rest will help (though obviously she'll be headed that way if she doesn't seem more comfortable tomorrow) but she's a very sad and sorry cat this evening

Sounds like she may have got into a fight with another cat. Hope she feels better tomorrow.

Agree with beks. Watch out for the signs of an abscess if she's been bitten. Might be a case for tempting little bits of favourite food. (You,as well as Lily LOL)

Thanks I can't see any signs of a bite, but am keeping a close eye - she's been surprisingly good about letting me check her over. I'm suspecting she's had another run-in with next doors cat - there's an on-going turf war there. Or had a lesson about the size of branches that are capable of supporting a cat.... She's still got a healthy appetite, which I figure is a good sign!
