He was my 16hh TB stallion - otherwise known as Herbie 10hh small pony from Ada Cole (Redwings). He died on Saturday because it was time for him to go. He didn't want to eat anymore and was very weak & thin. He lay down & couldn't get up, so we knew it was the end. I miss him but I don't feel as distraught as I did when Maisie & Harvey died, because they went too soon. But to think of a world without little Herbs, who mounted every mare in the field (including the 16hh CBx) only 2 years ago, who we took to the beach, who loved & trusted us - eventually, who chased everything smaller than him (pigeons, cats & cowardly Rottie included) in the field...... Bless him. Night night treasure x
