On a similar thought, I have to say, I'm amazed nobody has gone after Oasis at any point in their career...

It works! Love Marvin Gaye - "Heard it Through The Grapevine" was my first "our" song. Me and my teenage partner used to be first up on the dance floor,up at the front, next to the band LOL Wearing our matching outfits. Straight leg jeans, collarless shirts, waistcoats and kerchiefs. Sometimes I wore my snakeskin print T shirt, skating skirt and gold lame tights with loads of long strings of gold beads round my neck. Oh,and enough eye makeup to put Dusty to shame I had no idea at all what "Blurred Lines" was all about when it came out - just thought it was THE best song ever!

Well, now we know why Blurred Lines is so catchy - Marvin Gaye the master had the idea first. Snigs, I think I can just about picture that. !!!

... thing is, dodgy lyrics have been around for a long time haven't they? I draw a line at being completely misogynistic with people being called bitches, but lyrics about "interesting" sex and recreational drugs aren't new.

The Beatles and the Stones hardly ever wrote about anything else Add the two together and you get John Lennon's later most romantic stuff ever. IMO Mind you ,all sex is interesting when you're a teenager LOL
