I know I am a self centred old moaner, but I do think about you all and often wonder what you are up to. There is a bit of a silence on here so I guess you are all working/incapacitated/partying or similar. If you don't start telling me what you are up to,I may be obliged to make some New Year resolutions and share them with you

I've been busy changing jobs ( nearly finished only setting up a business bank account is a pain in the butt ) which should give me a little more time to do things which are fun instead of spending way more hours than I want in the day job.
I didn't spend enough time with Iris last year and I'm hoping the new job will do a lot to facilitate that. I'm not doing much teaching at the moment because at the moment helping out with Marty's training is scratching that itch.

I'm a bit restricted on how long I can be on-line for because being on the computer causes my neck to hurt. If I can just retire soon (fingers crossed!) I won't have to waste time working on a computer and will have more time for relaxing on it. Have done not a lot with the horses due to strangles - so not hacking - and weather and mud and hard work. But Spring is on the way innit?

Okay, have been on annual leave ha ha this has given me time to 'do' Christmas and the New Year, file my tax return, tidy the office, get the washing up to date (cannot face the ironing and back to work tomorrow . Have also started a 'book' and planning my AT/Riding workshops for the Spring. Oh and had a fab time playing with my new Grandaughter and some lovely time with my boys! Phew! but it does feel good to have got myself a bit organised to start the New Year and to have had some precious special time too.

Nice to see what everyone is up to. :-) I'm busy playing with my new dog, Tess the elderly Staffie, and also trying to sell the house so I can move to a bungalow instead - no stairs! Working less hours but back to doing what I enjoy, a bit of design work and some teaching. And looking forward to starting riding again at the RDA next week!

We're going to need some pics of Tess, and you riding Nic! Great to hear that you're getting back in the saddle.

Why does everything take so long in winter? I Am riding, but just cleaning the horses and booting them up for riding takes forever! So we're in ticking over mood so we can soon get them going in spring!

When I said I wasn't doing much teaching, I apparently spoke too soon. Seem to be teaching for most of my Sundays now, which is a lot of fun but quite cold at the moment. Nice to be working with a few different horses again, though.

I think my new bosal will be ready in 3 weeks! Hopefully Oz has calmed down by then so I can ride him in it!

I am supposed to be at a funeral right (a cousin) now but am skulking in the house instead, wrapped in a duvet and wishing there was some chocolate somewhere. The boys are just as miserable as it is still sleeting/snowing and their paddock is still all smushed and sloppy. I have had a couple of quotes for having it redone (beyond fixing up ) so we're back on the supermarket value products for the foreseeable. It seems to have been a very long, cold, wet winter. There aren't even any daffodils oout yet. I have several things poking their snout up in the pots on the patio though.(fenced off from Rafferty although I think he has scraped most of the bark off the two small apple trees while I wasn't looking). Please, tell me there is some sunlight at the end of this tunnel!!!
