"DON'T THINK OF IT AS DYING" said Death. "JUST THINK OF IT AS LEAVING EARLY TO AVOID THE RUSH."
RIP Sir Terry Pratchett

A sad loss but I hope he is now at peace. Horrid disease but I have the utmost admiration for Terry Pratchett for the way he used his struggle with dementia to raise public awareness of its devastation.

Maybe something to sing round the campfire at the Felbridge clinic Snigs? I've been away for a few days and had Good Omens with me. A really good read and it was interesting to read interviews at the back about how he and Neil Gaiman met and came to collaborate with each other. It was clear that they had a great time. The first Pratchett book I read was Witches Abroad. Mum and I were in a cottage in Yorkshire and did a lot of reading and generally chilling. I kept screeching with laughter, meaning that Mum couldn't wait to have her turn at the book. From that we both became fans, then my brother, and we've passed every book around since. RIP a clever, funny man.
