Yep the earth moved & it freaked us out at work. A very bizarre experience - I'm still struggling to find words to describe what I felt. A strange noise & a kind of pressure & some things moved a little.

We occasionally have them, one morning, years ago, I went to see the Horses and they were all stood in a row by a hedge, looked a bit odd, did not think anything of until someone told me there had been a small tremor in the night, glad to hear that you were only shaken and not stirred... Sorry again

We had an earth tremor when I lived in Glasgow in the 1970's.I think it was about a 4. My first thought was that this was it, the Russians had fired on Faslane as there was a low booming noise and then the bed shook as though someone had tripped over the bottom of it and ornaments on shelves tinkled as though the cat had walked through them and then I went back to sleep. My thoughts were that if this was The End, I might as well be asleep when it happened I was rather surprised to wake up. And to discover that it had been an earthquake.
