Hi Guys,
I'm working with a spooky Section D. He is lovely- but he windsucks and also is prone to spontaneous outbursts of bucking. His owner is very conscientious and the next thing is to address is his bitting. He dislikes anything with a lozenge, really disliked the ported myler. Teeth, back and saddle all done. (Saddle made to measure and is a beautiful fit).
So, this leads me to thinking that perhaps a Rockin S might be an option?
I know you guys have used them with success. She does lots of ground work- has ground work lessons with a trainer (who I don't like very much as I think her ego is massive) but I'm doing the riding, so at least I know that I give him good, kind rides within his comfort zone. He is exceptionally nervous and worries that he's going to get it wrong.
I think - a bit he's happy in would be a massive step. I'm gentle with him, always. He's a lovely lovely chap.
Any thoughts please?

I know nothing............but the Myler Bros always say "go softer" so what about a bendy rubber straight bar?
Someone "borrowed" my Rockin S and never returned it otherwise I'd try it on Smokey.
PS I'm looking for a 5" medium ported Myler that does not have D rings,if anyone has one to sell and I have one with D rings to sell if anyone is interested

Probably worth having a look inside his mouth, does he have a fat tongue? Low palate? I have a Rockin' S french link snaffle which seems to work well for horses that were fussy in their mouths before, but always aware that even a french link can pinch. My friend is a bit fitter and is quite amazed at how much a lot of horses like this one Plastic bit
